The idea behind the site is to feature MMA brand apparel designed by fighters and fans for fighters and fans. The plan is to carry popular brands, as well as up-and-coming brands, giving them a foothold/access to the MMA community at large.
The idea behind the name "mmacrue" came about one night while watching a UFC event. In person and on TV, it is too difficult to read the names of the companies that carry multiple brands. Branding is used by individual clothing companies with great success; however, branding has failed when it comes to the companies that carry and sell multiple brands of apparel.
Another failure of these companies is their lack of using SEO. There are how many millions of MMA fans in the world and the top multiple brand company receives less than 40K hits per month? They are certainly doing something wrong!
